ABOUT PRESERVA

Thanks for visiting Preserva — we're glad you found us. Preserva was founded by meal preppers who were tired of watching Sunday's hard work go to waste by Wednesday.

Like you, we spent hours each week batch cooking, portioning, and lining up containers in the fridge — only to open it mid-week and find rubbery chicken, soggy vegetables, and food that smelled like the fridge itself. We'd close the door, order takeout, and feel guilty about both the wasted food and the wasted money.

We tried everything the market had to offer. Plastic containers. Glass containers. Vacuum systems with hand pumps. "Airtight" lids that weren't. We kept thinking the problem was us — our discipline, our schedule, our follow-through.

Then we realised the problem was never us. It was the seal.

OUR MISSION

Meal prep is one of the most powerful acts of self-improvement a person can make. Done right, it cascades into better health, more money, more time, and a calmer week. But for millions of people, it keeps failing — not because of lack of effort or willpower, but because the containers they're using can't hold a proper seal past Day 3.

Our mission is simple: to give every meal prepper a system that actually works all week, so that Sunday's investment is still there for them on Friday.

THE HIDDEN REASON YOUR MEAL PREP FAILS BY WEDNESDAY

Most people assume their food goes bad mid-week because of their fridge, their recipes, or their timing. The real culprit is invisible: oxygen.

The moment air touches your food, oxidation begins — breaking down texture, colour, and flavour. Standard containers speed this process up. And here's what most people don't know: even vacuum containers on the market today rely on suction alone to hold their seal. Suction is just pressure — and pressure equalises over time. Within 12–48 hours, the seal softens. Microscopic air seeps back in. By Day 3, the vacuum is partially gone. By Day 5, your "vacuum sealed" container is functionally no different from a regular lid.

The industry calls it tolerance drift. Meal preppers call it: "I don't know why, but it never lasts the whole week."

The EPA estimates the average household throws away $728 worth of food every year. For active meal preppers buying in bulk, that number is often closer to $2,000.

OUR COMMITMENT TO QUALITY

reserva was built to solve both failure modes that every container before it got wrong — the mechanical and the chemical.

Every Preserva system includes what no competitor offers:

  • Vacuum extraction + mechanical locking clips — air is removed and the lid is physically locked shut, so the seal cannot drift back open regardless of how long it sits in your fridge
  • 304 stainless steel construction — immune to the cracking, staining, warping, and microplastic leaching that destroys plastic vacuum containers over time
  • One-touch auto-stop pump — seals in under 30 seconds, stops automatically at the optimal pressure, and runs 120 uses on a single USB charge
  • See-through lid with built-in date dial — so you always know what was prepped first, at a glance, without opening a single container
  • True leak-proof carry — mechanically locked, not just pressed shut; safe to toss in a bag without a second thought

You won't find this combination anywhere else on the market. We built Preserva because nothing like it existed — and we were tired of settling for less.
